Berlin by Minibus, at Your Group's Own Pace
Berlin is big, and its sights sit far apart. A minibus and a driver keep a family reunion, a club outing or a wedding party together, from the airport to the Reichstag and out to the palaces of Potsdam.
Hopping off in the centre
Wherever a no-stopping sign carries the extra plate “Ein- und Aussteigen frei”, a coach or minibus may halt just long enough for people to climb out: on Unter den Linden, Friedrichstraße, the Kurfürstendamm and Scheidemannstraße beside the Reichstag, for example. Waiting there is not allowed.
Listed coach parking sits near most of the famous names: Straße des 17. Juni by the Brandenburger Tor, Am Lustgarten by the Berliner Dom, Hardenbergplatz at Zoologischer Garten. There is no booking system, so the driver takes a free space and returns at the time you agree together.

The green sticker, in a nutshell
Everything inside the S-Bahn ring is an Umweltzone. Driving or parking there requires a green sticker, and that includes minibuses and coaches registered outside Germany. Drivers from abroad order it online from the Berlin registration office, ideally three weeks ahead.
The street diesel bans of a few years ago, such as the one on Leipziger Straße, were all lifted in 2022.

Coming in on a cruise
Days out beyond the city
Potsdam and Park Sanssouci are about 36 km away, just under an hour. Vehicles park at P1 “An der Historischen Mühle”; Schloss Sanssouci itself is closed on Mondays, so pick another day for the palace.
For something gentler, Lübbenau in the Spreewald is about 96 km south; families with children often choose Tropical Islands at Krausnick, roughly 72 km away.
The Sachsenhausen memorial at Oranienburg, about 39 km north, caps groups at 30 and asks for guided tours to be booked at least four months ahead. Coaches let passengers out at two signed bays on Schäferweg and pick them up again at the coach park on Carl-Gustav-Hempel-Straße.
Arriving by plane or train
BER lies about 27 km from the Brandenburger Tor: 35 to 40 minutes on quiet roads, longer in the rush hour. Full-size coaches wait at Bus Stop B opposite Terminal 1; for a minibus, the meeting point is settled when you book. Groups coming in by ICE arrive at the Hauptbahnhof, where vehicles set down on Ella-Trebe-Straße.
Questions travellers ask
Can our group visit the Reichstag dome?
Yes, if you register beforehand online, by fax or by post. The Bundestag needs every visitor's name, first name and date of birth, and anyone aged 16 or over must carry a passport or identity card.
We are 14 friends on a hen weekend. Which vehicle fits?
A minibus seats up to 16 passengers besides the driver, so fourteen of you fit with room for bags. Tell us about late plans in Friedrichshain or Kreuzberg so the hours are in the quote.
Is Dresden too far for a day trip?
It is about 192 km, close to three hours each way, so it makes a long day. A driver may be at the wheel for no more than 9 hours a day and must rest for 45 minutes after four and a half, which keeps the time in Dresden fairly short.
