Coach & Minibus Hire in Germany

Who Plans Your Trip, and Who Drives It

We help families, wedding parties, clubs and small tour groups get around Germany together. We handle the planning and the booking; a licensed partner operator provides the vehicle and the driver.

Two roles, clearly split

Our side is the conversation: understanding what your group wants from the day, finding an operator that fits, getting the trip priced and confirming it with you. The operator's side is everything on the road: the minibus or coach, the driver it employs, the paperwork for carrying passengers and the insurance.

Once you are under way, the driver follows the operator's instructions on route, safety and working hours. If a time, an address or the number of guests changes, tell us and we pass it on.

What partner operators must hold

Carrying passengers by bus for payment in Germany falls under the Passenger Transport Act (PBefG). Private group hire is an occasional service (Gelegenheitsverkehr), which needs an authorisation from the licensing authority; trips abroad run under the EU Community licence.

A minibus for up to 16 passengers and no longer than 8 m calls for a category D1 licence, and anything bigger for category D. Professional drivers also carry the driver qualification, marked as code 95 on the licence. A car with driver is a Mietwagen, and its driver needs a separate passenger-transport permit. We pass bookings only to operators holding what their vehicle requires.

What we leave out

We don't own vehicles or employ drivers. We don't sell seats on shared tours: every booking is a private vehicle for your group alone. And we don't publish prices, because each day is costed for its own date, hours, distance and vehicle.

Where we arrange trips

Twenty cities, from Hamburg and Bremen in the north to Füssen and Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of the Alps, plus twelve airports and four cruise ports. Salzburg, Innsbruck, Basel, Strasbourg and Prague appear only as day trips from a German base.

Where our facts come from

The rules on our pages come from public sources: federal law texts, the Umweltbundesamt list of low-emission zones, city and Land websites, airport and port operators, the Bavarian palaces administration, tourist boards and event organisers. Distances are light-traffic estimates for a car, so a minibus may need a little longer. Rules move, so anything that matters to your day is checked again when the trip is quoted.

Questions travellers ask

Are you a tour operator?

No. We don't sell packages or tickets. We book a private vehicle and driver, and the day follows the plan you give us.

Can we pick the operator?

We choose one with the right vehicle free on your date. If you have a particular need, such as a wheelchair lift or extra luggage space, say so and it shapes the choice.

Do you cover all of Germany?

We cover the twenty cities listed on our cities page, the outings that begin there, and the airports and cruise ports that serve them.
