Coach & Minibus Hire in Germany

To the Messe and back with your own minibus and driver

A stand crew of eight or a visitor group of fifteen does not need a coach. A minibus collects everyone from the hotel, carries the boxes of brochures and samples, and is there again when the halls close.

Small teams, scattered hotels

In a busy fair week your team may end up in two or three hotels across town. A minibus can call at each in turn, so the stand opens with everyone on it, rather than half the crew stuck in a taxi queue.

Build-up and break-down days are where a vehicle of your own helps most. Crates, roll-ups and screens travel with the people who will set them up.

Each fair sets its own stopping rules

There is no single rule for group vehicles at German fairgrounds. Messe München keeps separate coach parking a short walk from the halls, while shuttles get up to 30 minutes at its bus stops; the fair's site plan shows where. Messe Frankfurt and Messe Düsseldorf publish no coach rules at all.

So name the fair and the entrance you want in your request. The partner operator confirms the stopping point with the venue. Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf and Cologne all keep low-emission zones, so a vehicle crossing one needs the green sticker.

Rules to know before the day

  • Messe München has separate coach parking areas a few minutes on foot from the grounds, and shuttle buses may use its bus stops for up to 30 minutes; locations are on each fair's site plan
  • Messe Düsseldorf is about 3 km from Düsseldorf airport; U78, U79 and U80 serve the East entrance (Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstraße) and U78 the North entrance; the Messe publishes no coach rules
  • At Messe Berlin, coach groups for the Grüne Woche enter through Gate 25 (Tor 25) to the Hall 27 drop-off and entrance; coaches park at P18, which cannot be booked, with more space at the Olympiastadion
  • Messe Stuttgart is directly next to Stuttgart airport; taxi ranks and VIP and shuttle-bus access are in front of the entrances, and the S2 and S3 stop at Flughafen/Messe, about 27 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof
  • Coaches entering a city low-emission zone (Umweltzone) on the way to a trade fair need the green sticker (grüne Plakette), including foreign-registered coaches

Flying in close to the halls

Several fairgrounds sit close to an airport. Messe Stuttgart is right next to its airport, Messe Düsseldorf is about 3 km from its airport, and Leipzig/Halle airport is roughly 10 to 15 minutes from the Leipziger Messe by motorway. An arrival pick-up can take the team straight to the stand.

Questions travellers ask

Can the minibus wait by the hall all day?

Rarely at the door. It parks where the fair allows and comes back at the time you agree, or between set runs if your team leaves at different hours.

Is the U-Bahn quicker?

Sometimes. The U1 reaches NürnbergMesse about 8 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof. With cases, samples or guests in suits, the minibus is usually calmer.

Can we book a car for one visitor as well?

Yes. A car with driver suits a single executive moving between the airport, the stand and a client dinner, and runs alongside the minibus.
